Yes, it is tempting to talk on the phone, to text, even to eat behind the wheel, sometimes you are in a hurry and think that you need to — but don’t. Not only are your insurance rates at stake, but your life could be as well.

When eating in particular, stay away from beverages they are so hot they can burn you. Steer clear of greasy or gooey foods as well. A greasy steering wheel is a danger waiting to happen, and that delicious jelly doughnut? Well, if you are worrying about spilling raspberry filling on yourself, then all of your attention is definitely not on the road.
