Car insurance premiums, as you probably already know are not fun to deal with. In the last blog we talked about some of the things that you can control with regards to lowering your premium. Some other reasons why your premium might be higher is the risk factor of you, as a driver. If you are a woman, you most likely have a higher premium because most car insurance companies consider women to be riskier drivers than men.
Your age also has a lot to do with it. If you are a teenager, you are going to have a way higher premium than most people as teenagers are of the highest liability. There is good news though, when you are 25 years old, your premium for your car insurance will go down, so there is that to look forward to.
Keeping your premium low is difficult at times, but it is something that you should work on, after all – you have to have car insurance, no matter what.
