Believe it or not, parking your car in a garage may actually be able to save you money.
As most of us are well aware, car insurance companies will offer any number of different discounts and special incentives in order to be competitive — and, coincidentally, to help you save money on your car insurance rates and premiums.
You can get multi car discounts, you can get discounts for having anti theft devices on your vehicle, you can get discounts for bundles, i.e. letting one company handle your house insurance as well.
And you can get a discount if you have — and use — a garage. Many drivers are not aware of this, and thus neglect to let their car insurance company known that they park their car in a garage. Forgetting to mention this can ultimate cost you hundreds of dollars in premiums.
